Synopsis

A love letter and pirate flag for all the dreamers and storytellers, Director’s Cut investigates the struggle of Canadian artists in the film industry and the temptations that come with making pictures in the mainstream.

Jim Millan has written a comic play inspired by conversations with Canadian filmmakers. Director’s Cut follows the story of a successful indie filmmaker on his first big-budget film in Canada. With a star-studded cast, a large budget and his own vision, nothing can go wrong…until everything does. (crowstheatre.com, 2006)
