Synopsis
John & Waleed is a documentary-style concert that follows the stories of two musicians, one from Kitchener in Southern Ontario, and one from Khartoum in the Sudan. Through children’s tunes, folks songs, and their own compositions, this delightful performance explores their musical traditions and migrations, carried with them on their journey towards becoming artists, Torontonians, and ultimately – friends.
