Synopsis

In WW2, young Carlo Scorsini was a Partisan fighter in Italy. By 1950 he was on his way to Canada determined to start a new life. Years later, his son Elio purchases the family’s abandoned farm only to learn of the tragic events that befell his grandfather and aunt’s family. Despite his Italian heritage, could he ever feel at home in the new, modern Italy? (fringetoronto.com)
