Synopsis
In this debut of his fist complete musical theatre workup and coming composer Kevin Wong explores what can be discovered about one man, through the eyes of those closest to him. With a cast of seven and a 6-piece band, Recurring John tells the story of John, from the perspective of his Mother, Co-worker, Friends and many others. Each song gives the audience a unique perspective on how the actions of one person can affect so many others. This show is an exciting new take on the contemporary song cycle, and is sure to appeal to musical theatre fans. (summerworks.ca)
