Synopsis

Two sperm are delivered to the ovule. One fertilizes the egg, forming the embryo, while the other creates a protective layer surrounding it. This seed becomes a mature reproductive machine, converting energy from a single spotlight. 135 million years later humans appear. (fringetoronto.com)
