Synopsis
Two dogs and an android bear witness to the relationship between two sisters running a dog-sitting business out of their Toronto home as they navigate love, sex, politics, and revolution. As they respond differently to a nationwide uprising in Iran, their bond fractures while their motherland tilts toward war. Nostos is a dark comedy about longing, identity, solidarity, and empathy in shifting times. (fringetoronto.com)
