The Fateful Agenda (2017)

The Adventure Theatre Danceband are on their way to a funeral, or to children’s show, or to a wedding. En route, the five dancers and two musicians struggle with identity confusion, strife, romance, ageing, and death. In a series of precarious scenarios, they dance their way closer to an understanding of themselves and their desires. At crucial stages in The Adventure Theatre Danceband’s journey, the audience must make choices that will determine the outcome of the show. Who will marry whom? Who will come out and who shall remain closeted? Who will come to the defence of whom, and who will ultimately lose their life? As unknown fate approaches, the audience knows that it is they who have made the decisions that shaped The Fateful Agenda! (Toronto Fringe Festival program)
