Synopsis
False East is a parody of the Classic play True West. Two old friends are brought back together at their old place of work (Sam’s Cafe). One of them still employed (Gary), the other not exactly welcome (John). As some changes at Sam’s are taking place, they both realize those plans are much bigger than both of them imagined. Follow John’s cross country journey from Hamilton to Toronto, and Gary, from one side of the cafe to the other, in this timeless/ridiculous classic parody (fringetoronto.com)
