Founder: Alexandra Rambusch
Alexandra Rambusch founded Bent Spoons Productions in 2012, inspired both by her experience developing, co-writing and directing “Spychasers” for the 2012 Toronto Fringe Festival, and by seeing the work of her fellow Fringers. “The Adventures of a Professional Corpse” is its first production, appropriately at Toronto Fringe Festival which provides the opportunity to try things on a scale you might not be able to try elsewhere, and whose necessary constraints free your creative thinking. For Bent Spoons, this meant attempting the larger cast, and a narrative that covers a lot of ground. It is a production that wants all the theatrical bones showing: visual, narrative, and technical.
