Curiosity Collective is an interdisciplinary devised theatre company devoted to challenging the mind by merging dance, text, and acrobatics to create evocative theatre. As we create our work collectively, each member of the companycontributes their experience of the subject matter to inform the work. We do this by beginning rehearsals with an open discussion on a given question, followed by a physical exploration of that question, then observation, reflection, and implementation of discoveries. This is then made in each rehearsal into a new script. The work is constantly evolving as we deepen our questioning and exploration. Designers create their work with the guidance of our directors, drawing inspiration from striking images, and scene to scene action. Rebecca Bobrovskis (performer & choreographer) founded our company in 2012 with the intention of joining multidisciplinary artists together to learn, teach and create informative performances that inspire new thought. It was through Glory Dearling (co-director & producer) and Laura McKay (co-director & playwright) that the creative process of this work evolved into Devised Theatre.
