2011
Founded by Aaron Malkin in 2011, Life & Depth creates theatre work typified by extended physicality, rich emotion, and surreal trips of the imagination. With roots in physical comedy and clown, characters are “played” in the same sense as a child plays with a toy.
A cornerstone of the company is its classes and workshops, which help people overcome fears and find new freedom in self-expression, drawing on clown and improv methodologies.
Life & Depth also produces an annual festival – Play, Laugh, Be – that builds community through creative expression.
