Present Danger Productions

Present Danger Productions is formed by two core members: Donna Marie Baratta and Jessica Carmichael. Jessica and I met while training in the MFA Directing Program at the University of Alberta in Canada.

Jessica and I both share a passion for theatre that asks meaningful and difficult questions of our society when it comes to issues of violence, gender, race, class, familial issues and themes such as the conflicts between love and hate. We founded Present Danger Productions together to bring current and topical issues in our world to Canadian stages, with a focus on new and devised work.
