Synopsis
Four different bodies occupying one life – the voices describe their desires, remember losses in the past, and question their future in the face of their trauma.
Crave Collective and Pure Carbon present a physically expressive and poetic take on Kane’s unique, searing play that explores love’s assault upon the wholeness of the self. A departure from Kane’s earlier work, the play shocked the theatre world at its premiere in 1998, not for its violence, but for the sheer force of its language and its penetrating gaze into the human psyche.
