Synopsis

A quirky, dark, and yet comedic performance similar to the tradition of Pina Bausch’s dance-theatre, exploring the unrelenting effects of discrimination in humanity due to intolerance of social nonconformity. Everyday Oppressions examines trends of prejudice through various stylistic movement such as alternative ballet and contemporary dance. (fringetoronto.com)
