Synopsis

far-flung peoples Kicks off with uproarious energy, following ELMA, a Turkish refugee, and ANJEER, an Iranian refugee, as they confront Toronto’s rentocalypse! Their genius plan? Get a roommate! But fate has different ideas, leading them into a whirlwind of hilariously awkward situations. Amidst the chaos, they discover the cosmic language of human connection, sharing tales of joy, woe, and mishaps in a comedy of errors. As they navigate this linguistic journey, they can’t help but wonder: what other surprises does fate have in store for them? (fringetoronto.com)
