July 1st, 2015 – July 12th, 2015

The play examines Stalin’s persecution of Osip Mandelshtam, one of the foremost Russian poets of the twentieth century. Mandelshtam did the unthinkable: he created a poem attacking Stalin. The story focuses on Mandelshtam’s relationship with his wife, Nadia, as their situation deteriorates into deeper adversity until the poet is finally arrested. (
