Synopsis
“Off the Island” tells the story of Stephen, a young man from the Caribbean islands. He ventures to the Great White North, where he is graced with an experience that ultimately makes him question his sexuality. This entertaining musical explores the difficult, but real experiences of the LGBTQ community of the Caribbean.
This musical explores the parallels between island and city life, while experiencing the internal struggle and hopeful triumph of Stephen, against all odds. This comedic, modern musical should no be missed. (fringetoronto.com)
