Synopsis

“One Left Hour” stages a battle between absurdity and realism. Filtered through the life and work of Soviet surrealist Daniil Kharms – from his beginnings as the founder of an avant-garde arts collective to his eventual death by starvation in a Soviet insane asylum – the show subverts traditional theatrics to reveal the pain at the heart of art and life.
