Synopsis
In a Toronto Library branch, a determined woman fights to keep her self-published life story on the shelves — whether it belongs there or not. As staff and patrons are drawn into the conflict, an unhoused youth, a newcomer, and other library regulars begin to question whose stories are valued—and who gets left behind.
Set in one of the city’s last truly free public spaces, The Remainders is a sharp, funny, and heartfelt exploration of belonging, identity, and the power of being seen.
