Synopsis
An epic full-scale Rock Opera musical hearkening back to the glory days of arena rock.
Written by 2x JUNO nominated artist JJ Tartaglia and performed in grand fashion featuring the actual live band and a spectacular cast, THUNDEROR tells the story of a has-been musician/biker. Wild and restless, tempting fate with romance and danger, he is joined by a troupe of would-be rockers in an impromptu adventure.
The year is 1992, in a tumultuous alternate universe, Bowen, finds himself inspired by romance and gives one more shot at glory. Joined by love-hungry best friends Kenzie and Sheenah, and a local friar, they find themselves in the face of a rival biker leader, and in an unexpected journey. Through love triangles, danger and good times, the troupe are thrown into the trials of life, riding against the wind and never looking back. (fringetoronto.com)
