Roundhouse Park, home of the Toronto Rail Heritage Centre, features fun and lively new “museum” attractions maintained by the Toronto Railway Historical Association. Built around an old railway turntable, the park features original water and locomotive coaling towers, an historic railway site, a collection of working steam and diesel locomotives and even a passenger-carrying, miniature, live steam train. Roundhouse Park brings back the thrilling sights and sounds of Toronto’s colourful railroading past, making it the perfect place to stageThe Railway Children.
The Roundhouse Theatre 255 Bremner Boulevard, beside the old CPR roundhouse, at the foot of the CN Tower.
The 1000-seat auditorium is exactly like a normal indoor theatre, with comfortable, padded seats. Every ticket-holder has an assigned seat that will be on either side of the track. 500 comfortable, padded seats will be banked on either side of the platforms (1,000 in total) with good visibility all around. A specially built black interior provides a lining to the tent, and encloses the space from the elements.
