Synopsis
The story of one woman through the birth of her first and second babies and in to the benign and beautiful detail of one day in her life as a mother of two, contrasted by the dark underbelly of her postpartum depression. The Waves explores birth and early motherhood through text, movement, and a unique sonic experience that stretches the boundaries of vocal expression on stage. (summerworks.ca)
