Synopsis
Charlotte von Mahlsdorf is a happy, eccentric transvestite. This true story spans Charlotte’s incredible, brave lifetime during and after World War II in Germany. Her indomitable spirit inspires her not only to live her extraordinary life to the fullest, but create a beautiful museum and a safe haven for others seeking asylum.
