Synopsis
Confronting Space evaluates the concept of confinement. Both mentally and physically, the dancers examine restrictions, small spaces, and rules, while defying their relationships to boundaries. Lilly, Emily and Paige worked collaboratively with the dancers to help elicit a genuine response to the tasks and movements that were asked of them in the rehearsal process. Throughout the work together, they are able to transform the space into a world that is relative to our lives. (fringetoronto.com)
