Under the leadership of Artistic Director and General Manager Deon Denton and Executive Producer and Production Manager Gerrick Denton, Promise Productions nurtures the art of live theatre, as is clearly portrayed in our whimsical comedies, intense dramas and robust musicals; we advance theatre as an art form.
In 2007, after many successful years on the drama circuit in the church communities of Kingston, Jamaica and the GTA, Deon Denton officially launched Toronto based Promise Productions Media Group. Originally operated as a Sole Proprietor, Promise Productions became a Not for profit organization in 2013.
Our Mission is to produce a broad range of theatrical presentations of the highest quality possible that will inspire, challenge and entertain both artists and audience. We will provide entertainment in the dramatic arts with a level of excellence that will allow us to remain true to our social and educational values.
Our relationship with you begins with our commitment to providing you with great entertainment in a fun environment. We want to make your theatre experience so exciting and memorable that you will return again and again.
We are our first audience and if we do not enjoy it we will not present it to you.
