Rapid Fire Theatre
We are Rapid Fire Theatre, and we are proud to be Edmonton’s premiere destination for improvised comedy! We aim to provide affordable, high-energy improvisation and alternative theatre to our audiences, while providing exciting opportunities for our participants.
All of our programming takes place at The Citadel Theatre, our new home as of September 2012! Our weekly shows, Theatresports and CHiMPROV at Zeidler Hall will make you laugh until it becomes a form of abdominal exercise.
In addition to the weekly shows, we produceImprovaganza (our annual international comedy festival),BONFIRE (our long form improv festival) as well as The Wildfire Festival (our festival especially for gutsy jr. high and high school students).
We also produce numerous shows at The Edmonton International Fringe Festival, as well as Fringes across the country, in addition to festival touring! We like to keep busy!
Oh, and we teach improv too! We lead workshops for beginners, experienced performers, kids, and corporate groups!
