Ancient History (2014)

Ruth and Jack are two tall, thin, witty 30-somethings who are perfect for each other. They can dance to the Pearl Fishers, know the Marx brothers by heart, and use words like “antidisestablishmentarianism” and “rapaciositudinousness” as passwords. They are two lovers in Paradise. Until Ruth proposes marriage, and cultural differences threaten to drive them apart. Are they as alike as they thought they were? (Toronto Fringe Program, 2014).
