Synopsis

This is a show about the childhood of Julie Kim who is, quite frankly, no one special. Julie was born in Toronto to parents who immigrated from South Korea. Julie lived with her family in a small apartment above their convenience store in a low-to-lower-class neighbourhood in Toronto. Julie tells some stories that pertain to money, theft, food, disordered eating, gender, beauty, love, race, bullying, and more. (fringetoronto.com)
