Synopsis
The Nun’s Vacation is about a nun. It’s also about an ex-priest turned psychologist and it’s about that ex-priest’s current and possibly favourite patient. Three people. Three people in need of answers. The Nun’s Vacation asks; is there a right or wrong way to love? Depends. To some, it’s an adventure. To others, it’s about love. And yet to others, it doesn’t exist and these people are called Christians. Enter Shannon. The Nun at a crossroads. She hasn’t lost faith but is curious. Can she be free to find out what she really wants while still believing in God? Then there’s Pierce and Brody. Two men in love. With each other? Not necessarily but what would be wrong with that? Well, nothing. But also, everything if we’re talking about God and tolerance. This play is essentially a comedy, a farce yet there is nothing farcical about it. (alternavox.net)
