Playwright: Seri Yanai
July 4th, 2014 – July 12th, 2014
In Edo period Japan, ninjas, shoguns and peasants alike were all astounded by the mysterious shadows and pictures of the magic lantern show. Using this ancient device we’ll show you the sexy adults-only folktale of Issun-boshi, a 3cm samurai who seduced a princess and fought a monstrous Oni. And we’ll do it from in front of the screen, revealing all secrets! (Toronto Fringe Program, 2014).
