OUR MANDATE:
KICK Theatre is devoted to producing catalytic, dynamic theatre that reintroduces audiences to the cathartic power of the stage. We reignite controversial classical works by examining them through a contemporary lens and infusing them with a parallel dynamic that resonates with our generation. We are committed to developing new works that investigate current and critical issues and to the promotion of theatre as a bold and aggressive tool for self-expression and change.
OUR VISION:
Quite simply, we want to create the sort of theatre that we like to see as audience members – theatre that is brave and daring and that has the power to change our frame of reference. Theatre that isn’t comfortable and safe but provocative and affecting. A night at the theatre should be an enriching and transformational experience and it is KICK’s aim to provide that for its audiences with each and every endeavour.
