Synopsis
What really happened to Anna Mae Pictou Aquash back in the late 70’s cannot be truly known. Facts are lost in disinformation and denial, in misinformation and memory. Annie Mar’s Movement explores what it musthave been like to be Anna Mae, a woman in a man’s movement, a Canadian in America, an Aboriginal in a white dominant culture at a time when it felt like we could really change the world.
