Synopsis
There are heroes among us. Based on the award-winning graphic memoir of the same name, Bitter Medicine explores living with schizophrenia. Brothers Clem and Olivier Martini have sketched, cartooned and written their family’s lifelong experience with schizophrenia, taking the audience on a powerful and passionate journey. In a world where there is little support for those who contend with mental illness it takes a lot just to survive.
