Synopsis

Carmilla is a stage adaptation of the Gothic novella by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu, one of the early works of vampire fiction, predating Bram Stoker’s Dracula by 26 years. This 90 minute show takes place in a Victorian world with burlesque, cabaret, music, dance and audience immersion elements. Join us for this exploration of queer sexuality, gender, sexual agency, and toxic masculinity through striptease, horror, camp, drama, romance and sensuality! (fringetoronto.com)
