Synopsis

Seven-year-old Katie is furious. Her brother, Alistair, has kept her waiting for 55 years. Alistair, now a crotchety old man, is teetering on the brink of senility, spending hours in his abandoned, beloved dairy barn. Haunted by his painful past, he finally finds peace when Katie comes “home”. Homechild is a wonderful, touching Canadian story – lovingly told by one of Canada’s most gifted storytellers.
