Synopsis
This original sexy, dark folk musical tells the stories of three historical women who were accused of witchcraft in their time and are resurrected. Through the guidance of a divine prophecy, they come back to the modern world and become strippers. This piece focuses on Marie-Josephte’s love story with Liam, a customer of the club, which is being challenged by the prejudices against sex work, her trauma by the patriarchy, and her higher purpose led by the Prophecy.
