Synopsis

Things Base & Weill…Love Can Transpose! offers a glimpse into the complex and contradictory genius of William Shakespeare and Kurt Weill. Hamlet and Ophelia do the “Youkali Tango”. Falstaff sings “September Song”. Romeo and Juliet get “Lost in the Stars”. Theatre Counterpoise presents edgy music, divine text and a little sword play. (fringetoronto.com)
