The Luella Massey Studio Theatre

Renamed from The Studio Theatre to the Luella Massey Studio Theatre in 2014.
A former Russian orthodox church, the Studio is now a flexible studio space with a maximum seating capacity of 90.
This space has two small dressing rooms. There is limited storage and wing space. Basic lighting (manual lighting board) and sound equipment are provided with rental. Technicians and House Manager are provided with rental.
Box office services available. While the Centre’s scene shop is located in the basement, it is not available for rental or use by other companies.
The theatre is the smaller of two venues housing the Graduate Centre for Study of Drama’s activities. During the year it will hold theatrical and dance performances as well as readings, workshops and conferences.
It is available for rental to U of T and community groups as available around the Centre’s activities. The Theatre is not wheelchair accessible and not air-conditioned.
