Synopsis
The true story of two men, one from Kitchener in Southern Ontario and one from Khartoum in the Sudan. Created and performed by world-class musicians, John Millard and Waleed Abdulhamid, the show explores how their musical traditions from the opposite ends of the earth reveal more likeness between their two worlds than differences. This documentary-style concert/storytelling hybrid is a journey down a path of exploration, cultural philosophy, and ultimately kinship. (whatsontonight.ca)
