Synopsis
Ring Round the Moon is a lavish and delightful romp set in a 1940’s French chateau, replete with a chorus girl, a handful of eccentric aristocrats and a set of twins. Anouilh’s play is a treatise on the power of money and the relationships forged and broken in the name of love. Premiering in Paris in 1947 and first staged as L’invitation au chateau , the play was subtitled “a charade with music. (Show Press Release)
