Synopsis
Peggy Pickit Sees the Face of God explores similar themes around the past, the present, and how choices made for what seem like compelling reasons can have inescapable consequences. This show moves us to an unnamed Western city where we join an hilariously disasterous reunion. Two couples, all medical professionals, talk about Africa. This is the friends’ first meeting in six years. One of the couples has just returned from crisis work in an unnamed African country. The other stayed at home, made a lot of money, and had a child. Each envies the other, and all are connected by an African child — tellingly absent from the stage. (Another Africa Program)
